a) I'm illustrator too. you can see it here: http://www.edicionespeo.com/punio . i have been
involved in similar situations, just like yours. There's a little difference: i use to be more polite. A simply explication about your wishes were enough.
All that lawyer-stuff was not necessary, neither the'ultimatum'!!
b) I'm not incurring in any illegal action:
- I'm linking to a image from your site, an image that you uploaded to be public. i could access to your site ad your image from google.
- i'm not earning money at all.
- i use the blog to difuss the pop culture, the music and the illustration and - your sign and your website are very visibles in the linked image, so i'm promoting your work, just likethe others.
i'm not going to take out the image. i hope you understand this point. sorry for the inconvenients.
a personal question: why do you put your work in www,if you don't want it to be viewed?
You are right about me being unpolite. I appologize for the harsh tone,
I was really upset about you using the image without asking.
Not because you use it for a blog, but because I have to pay extra
for my website:
You linked it directly to my site (!!)
Ok, no legal actions, but please link it to
and not to my website, because that costs me money.
